A New Organic, Luxury Matcha Experience—Now Pouring at Amavida

A new organic matcha experience has arrived at Amavida cafés. The Ceremonial Matcha by Arteao is now available, joining the long-standing Sweet Matcha by Rishi—giving guests two thoughtfully crafted, organic ways to enjoy this vibrant green tea.

Both options are rooted in quality and intention, offering different experiences depending on how you like to enjoy your matcha.

Two Matchas, Two Distinct Experiences

The Ceremonial Matcha by Arteao is a new addition to the menu and offers a more traditional, elevated take on matcha. Made from high-grade organic tea leaves and prepared using Fellow’s tea set, this matcha is naturally unsweetened with a smooth, vibrant flavor that leans grassy and umami-forward. It’s an ideal choice if you enjoy nuanced flavors, less sweetness, or a more intentional matcha moment.

Alongside it is the Sweet Matcha by Rishi, a long-standing favorite many guests already know and love. This organic matcha is lightly sweet, milk-forward, and comforting—approachable whether you’re new to matcha or simply craving something familiar and cozy.

Both matchas are organic and thoughtfully sourced. The difference isn’t quality—it’s the experience in the cup.

Made Organic, Made for You

Every matcha latte can be customized with the milk of your choice, including whole milk, oat, almond, or other alternatives—always without an upcharge. It’s one more way to make each drink your own.

Where to Find Your Next Cup

  • Now available: Seaside café
  • Starting 2/2: Rosemary and St. Andrews café locations

The Ceremonial Matcha by Arteao will be featured alongside Amavida’s signature and seasonal drinks, as well as tea, coffee, and espresso offerings.

Meet Your Matcha: A Special Seaside Event on 2/7

To celebrate, we’re hosting a Meet Your Matcha event in Seaside on Friday, February 7th, starting at 2:00 pm. The event will take place in the adjacent space at Anne Hunter Galleries, just next door to our Seaside café.

This is the same weekend as the Seaside Prize, making it the perfect time to stop by, explore Seaside, and dive deeper into the world of matcha. Expect tastings, conversation, and a chance to learn more about what makes ceremonial matcha special.

Likewise, this event is part of a broader lineup of tea and coffee classes offered throughout the year—each designed to invite curiosity, education, and a deeper appreciation for what’s being brewed.

Order Ahead, Sip Sooner

For an even smoother visit, guests can soon order ahead online—making it easy to enjoy matcha (or any favorite drink) right when you arrive.

We can’t wait to share these matcha options with you – whether you’re discovering ceremonial matcha for the first time or reconnecting with a longtime favorite. Here’s to finding your matcha match. 🍵
